All aboard the Voyager Beach Resort to cruise your way through a laid-back beach break. This place is right on the silvery sands of Nyali Beach, so you'd be forgiven for thinking it'll be just like any other luxurious beach hotel. But inside you'll discover a nautical theme that's not only different, it's totally original.
If you've always fancied a cruise but aren't so keen being out at sea, this is the hotel for you. It's a cruise ship like no other. We're talking decks not floors, cabins instead of rooms and a smiling crew dressed in sailing gear. You could even find yourself dining at the Captain's table. And it's all on dry land too.
Just like a cruise ship, this place is all about taking it easy. Whether you're sitting at the seaside lookout bar or just chilling out by one of the pools, life here moves at an easy pace. But the real star of the show is the magical strip of coastline that clings to the hotel. It's got all the traits of a perfect beach. Pearly white sands. Warm seas. Sailing boats. It may sound like a cliche, but it really is paradise on Earth.
When it comes to meal times, the buffet menu depends on where the good ship Voyager has 'docked'. Every day is a different country, so you can dine around the world without ever leaving Kenya. Barbecue from Australia. Spaghetti from Italy. Peking duck from China. And when the ship's 'Out to Sea', you can enjoy all manner of freshly caught fish. If that's your thing, you don't have to wait for that particular day to roll around. Take a walk along the secluded track to the hidden 'Smuggler's Cove' restaurant, which has a seafood menu to die for.
Much like the main restaurant, the entertainment also depends on which country you're in. If you're there for Kenya day, you'll be treated to a fabulous rendition of 'The Lion King' by local children. On other nights, you can expect ethnic live music and shows based on countries from around the globe.
If you're looking for a hotel with a difference, this is the one for you. So hoist up the sail, drop the anchor, and get ready for the best cruise you never had.
